This vase was wheel thrown and then altered before being fired for many days in an anagama (wood kiln).  The natural ash glaze that settled on the surface during the firing creates an otherworldly skin on this 7” tall creature vase.  This is an extra dynamic one! So many fun surprises in the glaze from each new angle.
